My 11 yr old son just built a castle for a school project, I wanted to share his idea with others because it turned out so well. He cut out his model from thin cardboard, then we went to Lowe's and got Concrete crack repair ( it comes in one pound bottles like glue) spread the concrete over the cardboard and then press stones of your choice into the concrete,(he used natural colored aquarium rock) let dry, stand the walls and hot glue them together. It turned out very realistic looking. Hope this helps someone with their project.

Thank you for the tip, how to build a model is a very common question here. And i love the signature!
