You are unlikely to get answers to such a question. It is much too general and a good answer would require the writing of a book.

'What was it like to live in a castle....'
What sort of castle, where?
What time period?
For who, the king or the stable hand?
What aspects of life? Food, clothing, social obligations or conventions, work tec.

Try asking small, manageable questions like;

What foods were eaten by the knights living in a small castle in 14th c. England?
or
What work did minor knights do while living under the command of a lord in a small castle, when not at war, in 12th c. Engalnd?

These questions might be able to be answered by someone.
So, please, if you are really trying to get information on the subject, read a few relevant sections of castle books at the library first. When you have gathered some information and you are becoming familiar with the subject, you can then more easily ask relevant, specific questions here to help you fill in gaps in the information from the books.

Enjoy your resaerch, babe.

Hey - you don't have to be long dead to have lived in a castle - many are still occupied today! What it's like to live in them is very much dependent upon how far one has kept up-to-date with modern facilities.

All times are PT (US)
