hey!!! i need info and i need it now but i also need to know

*some early forms of castles
*what it would be like to live in a castle
*about stone castles
*ways to defend a castle

i really need this info and if n e 1 can get it ill be very happy =) thankies!!

Castles were mainly no longer built because they were unable to stand up to canons. Warfare between neighbours also became less common.

Some castles continued to be built after gunpowder era for reasons of demonstrating status of the owner.

Actually, some folks DO still build castles, although these are mostly for reasons of fulfilling romantic concepts of an ideal home.

Finally, many ancient castles are still inhabited today - this is not just a thing of the past.
