Hi I'm doing a brochere for school on German Castles and it says I need to have a quote or a story for each castle. I'm doind 2. Neushwanstein and Linderhof. If someone could help me out and find something I will put you in my bibliography because I have looked everywhere!!

Hi Amanda,
I'm sorry to have to say this, but the two buildings you have chosen, Neushwanstein and Linderhof, are palaces, not castles.
Try picking a real castle, something built in the middle ages, say aroung the 12th-13th centuries. The two palaces to which you refer were both built after 1870, about 400years after the last of the true castles were built.
If you still want info on the two palaces, try using this search engine; http://www.google.com/
then type in a search like, 'Linderhof palace history events', you'll get plenty of info.

OHH Damn!! Well my teacher is the Dumbass! Thanx for the help! I will remember this site because I like castles. I have been to England and toured Windsor and worwick and the Tower of London and it was great!!
