Are there any differences between castles in Italy, Germany, Scotland, or Whales? Considering style, materials, location, layout, use, etc. Any input would be appreciated! |

Whales? Wales. Yes there are many stylistic differences, and variations in size, not only between countries but across time and within each country. It would take an eternity to discuss these, and even to discuss the common factors. The best thing I can suggest is that you compare different web pages illustrating the castle styles of each area. For Scotland go to my site at http://www.gordons-castles.co.uk and then on the links page you will find a variety of web pages illustrating each country...e.g http://www.castlewales.com/home.html http://www.castles-of-britain.com/index.htm http://www.castles.nl/ Alternatively go to the links at the foot of the page and go to Castle Collections and just follow your cursor! ------------------ |
