I am a college senior who is hoping to graduate on May 9th. However, my graduation hinges upon a final project involving castles. It is due on Friday April 26th (I know it's last minute). I have to design a castle. I have chosen to design a motte and bailey style castle that would be built right after the William's victory at Hastings. It is not going so well. I need help, any and all help. If someone could tell me the basic features of a stone motte and bailey castle, that would be of tremendous help. I know it's last minute, but I'm taking 21 credit hours, and I'm setting up my senior exhibition of all my artwork. I just need as much help as possible as soon as possible. This is my last effort. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Motte and Bailey castles were earth and timber constructions, many of which were replaced in stone. Some web pages to help you out; http://www.angelfire.com/wy/svenskildbiter/drawings.html http://www.castlewales.com/motte.html http://www.castles-of-britain.com/castlesa.htm http://mysite.freeserve.com/gscrp/develop.htm
