Hey
I have a social studies group project. We are supposed to build a model. my group of five wants to do a cake in the shape of a castle. it has to be in a classic castle form with an inner wall, outer wall, a inner ward, and so forth. please send me plans or recipes on this idea.
Thank you so much!!!

To find plans, check out some of the previous posts in the 'model making' and 'floorplans and blueprints' forums.
Try Harlech castle, I think that might be what you want; http://www.castles-of-britain.com/castle42.htm http://www.charlottechurch.f9.co.uk/html_2000/witwiw/5_harlechcastle.htm
It I has round towers. If you want square towers, try Dover. Someone might have a plan. Use the search facility(top right) to find Dover in the 'floorplans and blueprints' forum.

As for cake, I would go for gingerbread. It's quite strong and is made thin, so you can sit it on edge to make the walls and cut arrow slits and crennellations(sp?) into it.

Have fun,

Erik

you could use gram crackers to build the castle.

All times are PT (US)
