Hello! I am very new to Castle researching. I was looking at castles for sale in France and fell in love with this one in Cosnes Sur Loire, Burgundy France. It dates back to the 14th century and was restored in the late 1800's. Gustave Eiffel and garnier assisted in the restoration. Those are the only things I know about it. I have been hunting and can't find information anywhere. A chateau this old has some history and I would like to find it. If anyone out there can tell me where I should look I would love th help. Hi, had a look for you, and although there are a few websites with pictures of the town (which is 'Cosne sur Loire'), there is not much info. It is not even listed in any of the books on France I have. Well, only one, and that is just a passing reference. With minor sites (and much renovated), you tend to get information only from local sources. E-mail the local tourist board, nothing to lose by it. Peter |
