Do you know anything about the origin of the name which might give us a start, like which country it comes from? I tried a quick search of a few geneology pages and only got American links, so not much hope of a castle there. Be warned...not all families had castles. This last name comes from Russia. In a book Newmark's coat of arms is described like: "Ar. five fusils comjoined in fesse gu. on a border Sa. eight crosses crosslet of the field." "Silver; five red elongated diamond shapes joined together and placed side by side; on a black border eight silver crosses crosslet." Newmark coded is N562. If you had a family castle name or the like, then maybe, but you haven't mentioned a castle yet, and this is a castle web site. Other spelling variations are Newmarke, Newmarch, Neumarche. Newmark also means "one who came from Newmarch" See if you can find a castle. Thanks. Bye -Jonny
