Author Topic:   Compton Castle jrcompton Member posted 06-10-99 12:53 PM             In the movie "Lady Jane", about the short reign of Jane Grey as Queen of England, Compton Castle is mentioned as the location of the set for the film. I have been unable to locate any information about this castle. Please forward any info. to this site or my email address. It is a fortified manor built by Geoffrey Gilbert in 1329.
