Author Topic:   Bodiam Castle Elle Member posted 11-02-2001 07:44 PM          I have to argue that Bodiam castle is a Tower House, essentially a domestic dwelling, rather than a Keep or "true" castle. Only just started course and haven't a clue what I am on about! As to whether it is a true castle or not? Well that comes down to the difficult question of definition. A dwelling...well all castle are principally a dwelling, but there are other functions too.
