A Knight Senior Member posted 11-26-2001 06:58 PM             Clarecastle in County Clare? The castle dates back to 1250 when it was built by Robert de Musegros. Substantial elements remains and when I visited the site in 1996 I gained access to the top of the one remaining tower.
