when Turks abadoned this area. It was built by the
grand duke Esterházy in the honour of the emperor
Leopold. It is L shaped.

Sela Mansion was built around 1762.The building served as a retreat for a Jesuit College in Trieste.Under private ownership the building's usage later changed.Currently it is owned by GIVO Real.Sela Mansion's main building is one of the finest examples of late-Baroque palaces in Slovenia.The exterior is embellished with 15 vertical window axes and 'rizalit' accents.The main entranceway comprises a stone portal with a spiral-shaped attic.In 1994 the building was declared a historical monument.
