The site is a scheduled Ancient Monument. It is open to the public on Bank Holiday Mondays (2 - 5 pm) between Easter and September. Schools and groups are welcome, by prior arrangement.
The comfortable self-catering holiday accommodation within the castle grounds is open all year.
